Organizational Structure

The Cyert Center's enrollment year runs from August to August. There are six classrooms based on age.

The Infant Wing, ages 3 months to 1 year
Young Toddler, ages 1 to 2 years
Older Toddler, ages 2 to 3 years

Classroom child/teacher ratios are based on NAEYC guidelines. There are approximately 20 children in each classroom. The Infant Wing has seven educators, the Young Toddler room has five, and the Older Toddler room has four. The Preschool 1, Preschool 2, and PreK/Kindergarten classrooms each have three educators.  In additon, we have  two studio educators and four floating educators. All educators have degrees in early childhood education or a related field.

Our professional team consists of:

1 Director
2 Cluster Coordinators
1 Business Operations Specialist
1 Program Assistant
6 Classroom Coordinators
23 Early Childhood Educators
2 Studio Educators
3 Kitchen Staff

Student teachers and practicum students from several area universities are also frequently placed in the Cyert Center classrooms. Teachers arrive and depart at different times during the day. This allows for facilitation of a familiar teacher remaining with the children throughout the entire day.
