Gorana is involved in many aspects of the technology transfer process, including assessing technologies and enabling technology commercialization activities, managing intellectual property portfolio, working with a variety of licensing models, including commercial licenses, open source, and new company creation, and facilitating the creation of spin-off companies.
Prior to joining CTTEC, Gorana was a Senior Analyst in the Managed Care Department at West Penn Allegheny Health System, where she worked on financial modeling and drafting of contracts between the five WPAHS hospitals, physician groups, and payors.
Gorana has also interned with UPMC, Johnson & Johnson, and a local start-up.
Gorana enjoys practicing yoga, running, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Gorana received her B.A. in Biology and Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University, and an M.S. in Healthcare Policy & Management from the Heinz College at CMU. She is currently pursuing her MBA at the Tepper School of Business at CMU.
