Summer Guest Housing

Guest Housing is available from May 21, 2009 until July 31, 2009.  Traditional, air-conditioned rooms in Stever House are available either as doubles, sharing a room with a roommate, or double-as-single, in which you have a room privately with a community bath.  Traditional rooms include a twin bed, desk, desk chair, chest of drawers, closet or wardrobe.  Building amenities include vending machines, laundry facilities, lounges, kitchen, and recreation rooms.

In order to qualify for Guest Housing, a resident must be affiliated with Carnegie Mellon University.  Examples of those who qualify would be full-time or part-time students, as well as visiting students or professors working with Carnegie Mellon faculty or staff.  If you have questions as to whether or not you meet this criterion, please feel free to call the Conferences and Events office at 412-268-1125.

A breakfast is included each weekday as part of the daily price.  Linens are also included in this price (flat sheet, fitted sheet, pillow, pillow case, blanket, bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth). Guests are to receive a weekly linen change.  Amenities available at an additional fee include micro-fridges, fans, telephones, and guest internet accounts.  You can select any of these amenities during the registration process.  Staff is available 24 hours a day in Mudge House, which is adjacent to Stever House.

If you are coming to Carnegie Mellon to participate in another summer conference being planned by the Conference and Event Services office, you are required to register for housing through that conference’s web-registration page.  Your conference chair can direct you to the specific web page for your registration.

Registration for summer 2010 will be available beginning in spring 2010.
