Step 3: Add Approved Email Addresses

The MailTo CGI will send email to any recipient within the cmu.edu domain.  To prevent abuse by spammers, the script will NOT send mail to non-cmu.edu email addresses (.e.g., gmail.com, live.com, etc.), unless the email address is approved in advance.  If you would like to add a non-cmu.edu email address to use with the Mailto CGI, follow the steps below:

1. From the Carnegie Mellon Web Portal (my.cmu.edu), select COMPUTING > Web Publishing > mailto allow list.
2. Type the email address in the Add a new email address field and click Add address.
   
3. To remove an email address, check the email address you want to remove and click Delete selected addresses.
