Departmental Pages through the CMS
A Content Management System (CMS) separates content, or the information contained in a web page, from presentation elements such as fonts, colors, width, or placement. Through a CMS you can easily manage your content without having to know a lot about design or the html markup language.
The university's CMS is a web-based application called Cascade Server from the developer Hannon Hill. For more information, please visit the Carnegie Mellon Content Management System website.
