Computing Services participates in the Educational License Program under which Carnegie Mellon obtains license for a variety of products for OpenVMS.  Hewlett Packard makes this software avalable to educational institutions at no cost.  This progarm is patterned after the OpenVMS Hobbyist progam.

License holder: Computing Services

Quantity licensed: OpenVMS Base license - 25 users, plus, Unlimited access to Layered product licenses

Available for: OpenVMS

Who can install it: Faculty, staff and students

Eligible equipment: University owned/leased and personally owned computers on campus/at home

Type of license: Annual, August renewal
