Installing the Oracle Calendar Client
Important Note: If you are a DSP (Desktop Support Program) client OR if your machine is Active Directory managed (you sign on with User Name, Password and Realm) DO NOT install this version of the Oracle Calendar Client. If you install the software yourself, you will not be able to logon to your computer after installation. Your departmental administrator will handle the upgrade for you in the near future.
Read the Important Information section, then follow the instructions appropriate to your operating system.
Important information before you begin:
- In this version of Andrew Calendar, the address book feature has been enabled for new installations. If this is NOT the first time that you have ever installed the calendar client and you wish to use the address book feature, you will need to enable the address book option in your preferences; for help, see the Andrew Calendar documentation.
- If you use the Oracle Calendar Sync for Palm software (previously called CorporateSync) be sure to update both applications (Oracle Calendar for desktops and Oracle Calendar Sync) at the same time.
Windows Vista and XP+ Operating Systems
- Remove any previous versions of Oracle Calendar software first. To do this, click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove programs. Scroll down until you see the item for your previous version (either CorporateTime or Oracle Calendar) and select the option to remove the program.
