Minitab Installation Instructions

Windows XP and Higher

1. Download the file Minitab15.zip to your computer.
2. Extract the zipped installer files:
   Windows XP: Right-click on the Minitab15.zip file and select Extract All.... A folder Minitab15 is created.
   Windows Vista: Double-click the Minitab15.zip file. A folder Minitab15 is created.
3. Open the Minitab15 folder and then double-click Setup to launch the installer.
4. After you install Minitab 15, you may see the following message, "Specify the License Server System: Minitab was not able to obtain a license because the FLEXNet license server manager could not determine where to find the license data it needs.  Please choose one of the following..."
5. Select  Standalone installation, then browse to the location where you have installed the program (e.g., C:\Program Files\Minitab 15).  The license file is called Minitab.LIC and it is located on the top level of the Minitab 15 folder. Select this file.
