Consider Your Downloading Habits
Downloading and sharing music, movies and apps is a part of student life. If you shared your music, movie or app library at home, please close/turn off sharing before coming to campus. Otherwise, you could inadvertently share your library with thousands via the Carnegie Mellon network, which is a violation of the university’s Computing Policy.
IMPORTANT: When requested, Carnegie Mellon is legally required to provide information about individuals who appear to be illegally downloading and distributing copyrighted materials (e.g., music, movies and apps) on our network.
