Backup Schedule

Following is the schedule for performing backups of Cyrus Email servers, AFS file space and MyFiles file space. As you refer to this schedule, it is important to keep the following in mind:

  • The data must be present during the backup cycle to be backed up. Because backups run nightly, any data that you create or edit during a particular day is not backed up until sometime that night. So, if you delete that data before it is backed up, it cannot be restored.
  • It is not possible to know the exact time that your data will be backed up. Although data is backed up at least nightly, it is not possible to determine exactly what time your data will be backed up. For example, if your Cyrus Email account is one of the first to be processed, it may be backed up as early as 9:00 p.m. If it is one of the last to be backed up, it may not be backed until 8:00 a.m. the next morning.
