Microsoft Office 2007 Implementation

The Desktop Support Program (DSP) will be installing Office 2007 on all customer computers beginning in February 2010. A pilot group of customers will receive Office 2007 first, followed by other groups on a department-by-department basis.  Departments may submit a request to transfer to Office 2007 earlier if they wish to do so.

While growing accustomed to new programs is sometimes difficult, there are many advantages to using Office 2007. To read more about new features and training options, please visit http://www.cmu.edu/computing/repair/dsp/office2007.html.

Your DSP consultant will be in touch with your department to plan the transition process and can offer advice on training possibilities.  For more information on this upgrade, please contact DSP at dsp@andrew.cmu.edu.
