Dear Carnegie Mellon Community Member,

Last Fall the Carnegie Mellon Information Security Office and the CyLab Usable Privacy and Security Laboratory conducted a study to help us learn how to better protect the Carnegie Mellon community from identity theft.  As part of this study we sent over 3,600 simulated phishing email messages to the Carnegie Mellon community. We also sent educational messages on how to avoid falling for phishing attacks to some study participants. We analyzed the data from the study to determine how vulnerable the Carnegie Mellon community is to phishing attacks and evaluate the effectiveness of our training messages. We invite you to join us for a presentation and discussion of the results of this study.

We hope to see you at the presentation on April 10th.
