New Information Security Policy Approved

In December, the President's Council approved a new University-wide Information Security Policy.  This new policy lays a foundation for protecting all institutional data, replacing the Data and Computer Security Policy that has been in effect since 1990. 

Over the next six months, the Information Security Office will be working on a series of new guidelines and procedures to assist business units and colleges in interpreting and implementing this new policy.

A status update will be sent out in approximately 60 days to keep you informed of our progress.  In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
