SERVICES AFFECTED: Virtual Andrew Web Client and Desktop Client
The Virtual Andrew Web Client and Desktop Client will be unavailable during the maintenance window.
The Virtual Andrew Web Client was disabled on 04/10/2014 for a thorough evaluation of its vulnerability to the Heartbleed Bug. The service will continue to be unavailable as maintenance updates are performed starting Saturday (April 26) and will be available on Monday (April 28).
The Virtual Andrew Desktop Client was found to be vulnerable to the Heartbleed Bug. We recommend that you upgrade to the latest version: http://www.cmu.edu/computing/software/all/vmware-view/index.html
After the maintenance window, use the Virtual Andrew Desktop Client as an alternative until the Web Client becomes available.
