NETWORK OUTAGE: External Internet Connectivity, Internal Wireless 10/20/2012

DATE & TIME: October 20, 2012 from 5:00 - 6:00 a.m.

Computing Services staff members will perform maintenance work to the university's external Internet connectivity infrastructure and internal wireless network during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED:

During the course of this outage, you will NOT have access to external Internet sites, whether you are using a wired or wireless connection.

Additionally, individuals using wireless connections will be unable to access internal servers and websites. To access internal servers and websites during this outage, switch to a wired connection.

NOTE: All regularly scheduled Computing Services Network maintenance occurs on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month between the hours of 5:00 - 6:00 a.m. Visit http://www.cmu.edu/computing/news/maintenance/ to view a complete list.
