Carnegie Mellon Web Portal Retirement

The Carnegie Mellon Web Portal at my.cmu.edu was deployed ten years ago. As new and updated web services (e.g., PlaidCa$h status, email tools, etc.)  have been integrated elsewhere, the portal is no longer a central source of information for students, faculty and staff.  Computing Services will retire the portal on August 14, 2014.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

Until November 30th, the main Carnegie Mellon Web Portal page at my.cmu.edu/ will offer links to the services that were previously available through the portal (PlaidCa$h, Print Quota, Blackboard, Library, etc.). If you are in the habit of navigating to services through the portal, visit my.cmu.edu/ between now and November 30th to bookmark items that are important to you.

Note that computing related services that were previously available through the portal will also be accessible through our web site at www.cmu.edu/computing/ or through the quick links provided on Computing Services’ student, faculty, or staff web pages:
www.cmu.edu/computing/students/
www.cmu.edu/computing/faculty/
www.cmu.edu/computing/staff/

Please direct any questions or comments to the Computing Services Help Center (412-268-HELP or it-help@cmu.edu) or to your departmental administrator or DSP consultant.
