CMU-SECURE Certificate Change (6/6/13)
On June 6, Computing Services will update the CMU-SECURE wireless certificate. Since the provider has changed the way the certificate is signed, you will be required to verify the certificate the first time you connect to the CMU-SECURE wireless network following this change. Follow the appropriate steps below to connect.
Windows 7 & 8
- Locate CMU-SECURE in your WiFi list.
- Enter your Andrew userID and password.
- When prompted with the "Windows Security Alert," click Details.
- Verify the certificate with the image below and then click Connect.

Windows 8

Mac OS X 10.7+
- Locate CMU-SECURE in your WiFi list.
- Enter your Andrew userID and password.
- Click Show Certificate.
- Verify the certificate with the image below and click Continue.

Mobile Devices
When connecting using a mobile device, verify the certificate is wireless.cmu.edu. For steps to connect, please see the Mobile Device Configure CMU-SECURE page.
