CMU-SECURE Certificate Change (6/6/13)

On June 6, Computing Services will update the CMU-SECURE wireless certificate. Since the provider has changed the way the certificate is signed, you will be required to verify the certificate the first time you connect to the CMU-SECURE wireless network following this change. Follow the appropriate steps below to connect.

Windows 7 & 8

1. Locate CMU-SECURE in your WiFi list.
2. Enter your Andrew userID and password.
3. When prompted with the "Windows Security Alert," click Details.
4. Verify the certificate with the image below and then click Connect.

Mac OS X 10.7+

1. Locate CMU-SECURE in your WiFi list.
2. Enter your Andrew userID and password.
3. Click Show Certificate.
4. Verify the certificate with the image below and click Continue.
   

Mobile Devices

When connecting using a mobile device, verify the certificate is wireless.cmu.edu. For steps to connect, please see the Mobile Device Configure CMU-SECURE page.
