Open house sessions provide an excellent opportunity to become familiar with teaching technologies in preparation for the fall semester. As a faculty member, you could:
- bring laptops, DVDs, iPads or other technology tools you plan to use in the classroom. Technologists and support specialists will be available to do a run-through and respond to questions.
- test your class software installed in the classroom or cluster computers.
- pick up classroom equipment like microphones or Clickers for this semester.
- let us know if you’d like a technology demonstration at your University Registrar-controlled lecture hall, classroom or cluster for the fall. If your classroom or cluster is available, we will gladly escort you to the space and provide a demonstration, or we will schedule one when the space becomes available.
