Cluster Reservations - Spring 2010

Cluster reservations are now being accepted for all dates in the Spring 2010 semester.  

The reservation request deadline for the Spring 2010 semester is Friday, October 16, 2009.

Please Note: For the upcoming spring 2010 semester, the University Registrar's Office and Cluster Services joined ranks to collect not only classroom requests but also cluster requests. This change will allow Cluster Services to determine if SIS will meet the needs of the campus community for cluster reservation requests.
 
To request a computing cluster for Spring 2010:

1. Enter the desired cluster building and room on the SIS:RSU1 screen.
   If you are not sure what building/room to request, leave the building/room blank and enter a cluster media code.
2. Choose one of the following media codes to describe the desired type of cluster:
                     80        Cluster Linux                 
                     82        Cluster Windows               
                     84        Cluster Mac                   
                     86        Cluster Windows MultiMedia    
                     88        Cluster Mac MultiMedia

3. IMPORTANT:  You will still need to complete your cluster reservation request with Cluster Services at https://clusters.andrew.cmu.edu/reservations/.

NOTE:  Cluster Software requests will continue to be handled through the current cluster reservations process and remains unchanged https://clusters.andrew.cmu.edu/reservations/.
