Protect Your Identity
(U.S. EDT)
DAY: Tuesday
DATE: 4/22/08
TIME: 1:30 -3 p.m.
Protecting your identity is one of the most important steps you can take in preventing “cyber-crime”. If you oversee any data at all, it’s also important that you know how to protect others from identity theft.
To help you understand this important topic, and to show how the Information Security Office’s new Identity Finder for Windows software can help you take a bite out of cybercrime, Computer Education and ISO will present a special class on Tuesday, April 22. This hands-on training in preventing identity theft, presented free of charge, will be held from 1:30-3 p.m. in the Cyert Hall Windows Cluster.
Seats are still available, but could fill up quickly, so sign up as soon as possible. To register visit: https://acis.as.cmu.edu/gale2/servlet/HRLearn2
