Register for C@CM
As an undergraduate student, you are required to take Computing@Carnegie Mellon (C@CM) in order to graduate, preferably during your first semester. If you have not already been enrolled in the course, please contact your academic advisor for assistance with the course registration process.
C@CM is a 3-unit, pass/fail course that provides useful information about our computing environment and technologies that support academic activities.
Start Your Coursework Now
Effective July 9, 2012 and once you have registered, you can begin your coursework. Starting the course early will give you a jump on the assignments and free up your time for other work later in the semester.
If you finish the course over the summer, you can take the final exam during Orientation Week (provided that you have fulfilled the eligibility guidelines). There will also be options for taking the final exam early in the fall semester.
If you choose to wait until you are on campus to take the course OR you don’t finish during the summer, complete the course over the standard 7-week schedule.
