Phone and Cable TV Services

Students

Each residence hall room or suite is equipped with one telephone line; however, students need to bring their own phone set.

Local and on-campus calls are free. A long distance service will be available to you or you may elect to use either your personal cell phone or a calling card from the carrier of your choice. Student phone lines are not permitted to accept collect and third party billed calls. If you accept these types of calls you will be billed for the call plus a $25 investigation fee.

For full time students, a Voicemail service may be ordered at a cost of $12 per semester. However, students who share a residence hall room should agree on whether to use it or not; it can not be provided to one occupant and not others.

Cable television service is included in each residence hall room. All you need to bring is a cable ready TV and a coaxial cable to connect the television to the outlet.
