The Carnegie Mellon web portal at http://my.cmu.edu/ makes it easy for YOU to create your personal gateway to the information and services you want! The portal is customizable. For example, students will benefit from the Portal's Dining and Campus Express account information, buy back pricing for textbooks, textbook requirements for your courses and much, much more. Faculty and staff can configure portal to easily read the Event Calendar, email Inbox and Carnegie Mellon headlines.

Through the Portal's My Account tab campus affiliates can manage essential functions. You can:

• download software
• read e-mail via the Andrew Webmail web interface
• set mail forwarding
• set an "away" mail message
• establish an account on the Andrew calendar system--a campus wide calendar scheduling system
