Classrooms and Lecture Halls
Lecture halls, classrooms and seminar rooms offer standard audio and video for projection with devices such as laptops, tablets, DVD player, document cameras, etc. Some classrooms offer videoconferencing and a classroom response system. A guide for using the equipment and detailed room descriptions are available.
Clickers
Clickers is an interactive classroom response system that enables instructors to pose questions to students and immediately collect and view the responses. Students can purchase i>clicker remotes from the bookstore. Web>clicker is not supported.
Computer Clusters
Public computer labs, or “clusters,” are available across campus and offer a variety of Windows, Mac and Linux computers, peripherals and an extensive complement of software. Most clusters can be reserved for teaching classes and are open 24/7 during the academic year. Additionally, specialized and non-traditional clusters are available in the College of Fine Arts, West Wing and Wean Hall.
Reserving a Clusters
Campus affiliates can reserve teaching clusters for academic or professional development classes, or community service and research projects. Faculty members can also request additional software to support these activities. Use the Cluster Reservations system to reserve a cluster or request software. You will need your Andrew userID and password to login.
