Installation and Configuration Steps

Step 1: Download and Install the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client

Note: AnyConnect VPN client is Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Macintosh 10.6+ and Linux compatible.

  1. Uninstall any previous versions of Cisco VPN.
  2. Download the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client for your operating system.
  3. Double-click the downloaded file to run the installer.
    Mac OS X 10.8 - CTRL-click the installer and select Continue to allow installation. To change your download options to allow installation from anywhere, see the Recommended Configurations Settings document.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to install.
