Virtual Private Networking

When connecting from off-campus, Virtual Private Networking (VPN) is a valuable tool. You will need to establish a VPN connection to access:

• restricted campus servers
• restricted campus services
• cluster software that is available remotely

To use VPN, download the VMware View client and then follow the Virtual Andrew configuration/connection steps.

Box Cloud Storage

Box is a cloud storage service that allows you to access files from any device with an Internet connection. Box eliminates the need to carry a flash drive or other storage device. Visit the CMU Box page to establish an account.
