Mobile Device Support
Computing Services defines a mobile device as a portable computing device typically having a display screen with touch input and/or a miniature keyboard. These devices are also known as "smartphones," "tablets" or "handheld devices."

Level of Support
Computing Services supports connectivity tot he campus wireless network and university-sponsored email/calendar account synchronization. Issues related to phone coverage, carrier problems or other mobile functionality are nto supported and should be directed to your carrier or mobile device vendor.
Computing Services offers support for network registration of devices and troubleshooting for connectivity to the campus wireless network.
Support for email and calendar configuration is offered for university affiliates using Cyrus email (IMAP), Andrew Calendar (SyncML) and Exchange email and calendar (ActiveSync) services.
Note: If you are unsure of which email service (Cyrus or Exchange) that you use, visit MyExchange Tools. Exchange customers will have access to the tools; Cyrus customers will be presented with a message, "You have been identified as using Cyrus."
