Managing Folders

Creating a Personal Folder

  1. Click Folders.
  2. Under Create Folder, type the name of the folder (e.g., Sent Mail, Spam).
  3. From the As a Subfolder of drop-down, select INBOX or an existing folder under INBOX.
  4. Click Create.

  5. Click refresh folder list to display your changes.
    Note:
    Creating a folder in this way automatically subscribes you to it.
  6. Click E-mail to return to your message list.

Renaming a Folder

  1. Click Folders.  The Folders window appears.
  2. Select the folder you wish to rename from the Rename a Folder drop-down menu.
  3. Click Rename.
  4. Type the name in the New name text box and click Submit.
  5. Click refresh folder list to display your changes.
    Note:
    Renaming a parent folder will rename all subfolders.  You  may need to re-subscribe to the newly renamed subfolders.

Deleting a Folder

  1. Click Folders.  The Folders window appears.
  2. Select the folder from the Delete Folder drop-down menu.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Click Yes to delete the folder.
  5. Click refresh folder list to display your changes.
