Your Email Password/Security

To ensure the security of your email account, be sure that your email password is NOT saved within your client.  Follow these steps:

  1. Launch Outlook. 
  2. Select Preferences > Accounts. Do one of the following:
  • If information does NOT appear in the password field, you're fine. Outlook will prompt for your password each time that you launch the program.
  • If information APPEARS in the Password field, remove it. Close Outlook and re-open it. The program should prompt for your password each time that you launch it.
