Spam Filtering

Unsolicited mail, more commonly known as "spam," is an unfortunate consequence of email. Although there is no sure proof method of eliminating spam altogether, our campus email system automatically identifies some spam through certain characteristics (e.g., information in the "Subject" and "From" line of the message) and gives you options for handling spam.
