Departmental computing administrators are encouraged to use this list as a way to talk with each other about departmental computing concerns. Computing Services staff may use the list to communicate computing plans and changes, and to give admins early information on important computing issues. Departmental Computing Forum agendas and invitations to other meetings of interest are also posted to the list.

dept-computing-discuss
This mailing list is for departmental computing administrators for open discussion on various topics. Many people prefer that discussions move here from the main mailing list if they begin to get long.

linux-users
Interested in Linux? This mailing list is open to Carnegie Mellon staff, students and faculty.

andrew-windows-admins
This mailing list is open to staff and faculty at Carnegie Mellon who use or are interested in using the campus Windows Active Directory infrastructure.
