Macromedia
New Product: Contribute 3--extends Dreamweaver, provides
IT controls. Offered under site license, or volume licensing.

New Licensing Scheme available: if one order with 250 points
worth of product made, entire campus can continue to purchase
at volume rates.

Alumni Website
As many staff members are also alumni, or work with or know
alumni, the Computer Store and Alumni Association now have
4 different laptops available for purchase through the Alumni web page. Part of the purchase price goes as a contribution to the Alumni Association: http://www.cmu.edu/alumni/ and "click here" under Alumni Store.

Apple Store in Shadyside
Is not able to provide Apple software at academic pricing.
They also don't have volume pricing (of course) on
Microsoft, Adobe or Macromedia software.
Departments are still to purchase Apple hardware through
the Computer Store. We are still in negotiation concerning
academic discounts for staff, faculty and students, and
if the Shadyside store can or can not match those prices.
