Computer Education Survey The Departmental Computing Survey was meant to provide Computer Education with additional information regarding the computing training needs of staff and faculty at Carnegie Mellon. In the feedback received we heard from approximately 10% of DCF participants, which covered almost all areas of the university. Some of the results include: there is a strong consensus that folks prefer group or customized trainings, with Computer Education workshops being an excellent second choice. Also, participants expressed a preference to participate in staff, faculty and technical training classes during the summer sessions. Additionally, surveyors reported most difficulties occur with Mulberry and Andrew Calendar; and appropriately enough these are also the most attended classes reported from the surveyors.
