Favorites

If there is a host name that you connect to frequently, you may want to create a shortcut, or "favorite", to access it more quickly.  Information on creating or modifying favorites can be found on this page.

Creating a Favorite

1. Open the Fugu application.
2. From the Fugu menu, select Preferences.
3. Select Favorites from the menu bar.
4. Select + from the lower right corner of the screen.
   
5. Enter a name for the favorite under Nickname, for example "Publishing".
6. Enter an IP address under Host, such as "publishing.andrew.cmu.edu".
7. This will now appear under the SFTP favorites, or the globe icon, in the connection window.
   

Editing a Favorite

1. Open the Fugu application.
2. From the Fugu menu, select Preferences.
3. Select Favorites from the menu bar.
4. Select the information you would like to edit, and make your changes.
