Public Printing on Campus

For students, faculty, staff members, or guests who do not have access to their own printer, Computing Services maintains a number of printers in our public computing clusters.

Steps for using the public cluster printers differ depending on where you will print FROM; refer to the appropriate pages below:

Printing from a CLUSTER computer to a cluster printer

• Computers in our public computing clusters are pre-configured for printing to the public cluster printers. Follow steps included in Printing to Public Cluster and Library Printers (from a cluster computer).

Printing from YOUR OWN computer to a cluster printer

• In order to access the public printers from your OWN COMPUTER, you will need to perform the configuration steps included in the Printing to Public Cluster and Library Printers(from your own computer).

Note: Printing to public printers on campus uses a release station system. This system allows a specific print quota for students, faculty and staff and promises to reduce wasted output.
