Using Multiple Identities

If you have a need to change your "From" or "Reply-to" information when sending email, you may have used an "identity" feature in another mail client. Outlook offers a few different methods to handle this type of email.

  • Option 1 -  This method can be used to easily send a message from another identity if you don't mind the message header reading, "...on behalf of" and including your name.
  • Option 2 - This method requires that you change information in your e-mail account, send the message, then change your e-mail account back again.
  • Option 3 - In this option, you can establish additional profiles for your messages.
