Importing to Outlook
Note: You may need the original Outlook installation CD to access this feature.
Follow these steps to import your address book to Outlook:
- With the Outlook mail client open, highlight the Contacts icon (in the Folder list) that you'd like to import your addresses to.

- Select File > Import and Export...
- Select Import from another program or file then click Next.
- At the bottom of the list, select Tab Separated Values (Windows) then click Next.
Note: You may be prompted to install a feature of Outlook. Insert your original Outlook installation CD. Outlook will install this translator file.
- Click Browse... then select your address book to be imported. Click OK.
Note: This is the .txt file that you saved in the previous steps.
- Select whether you want conflicting addresses to replace or overwrite existing addresses then click Next.
- Once again, select the Contacts icon you'd like to save these addresses to and click Next.
- If it's not already there, place a checkmark beside your imported addressbook then click Map Custom Fields.

- The Map Custom Fields dialog box appears. The fields you are mapping TO in Outlook are on the right side of the dialog box.

Note: Outlook will automatically place some of these address book values in the correct location; but for others, you will need to manually map the field.
- Find an e-mail address value on the left and drag it to the appropriate e-mail field on the right. Do this for all fields you wish to retain; expand sections on the right side as needed. For example, to map your Mulberry first names, last names, and e-mail addresses, perform these steps:
- On the left side, select First Name. On the right side click on Name to expand it. Click and drag First Name, and then Last Name to the left side.

- To map e-mail addresses, on the left side, select Email Address 1. On the right side click E-mail to expand it. Click and drag E-mail Address to the left side.

- Once you're finished, click OK, then click Finish.
- Once it's completed, you can open your contacts list to determine if it has imported correctly. If it did not, you can delete the Contacts. To do this, select the first contact name, then hold Shift while you select the last contact name. Re-map the fields again until you're happy with the results.
