Launching Mailman

Mailing lists are used by groups of people who have a common interest in the topics being discussed via e-mail. Mailing lists may be used as an announcement or a discussion list. Mailing lists at Carnegie Mellon are administered using the mailing list manager "Mailman.

Follow these steps to launch Mailman:

1. Launch your web browser and visit the Carnegie Mellon Web Portal.
2. Under Email, select Subscribe to Mailing Lists.
   OR, visit the Andrew Mailman Mailing Lists site at http://lists.andrew.cmu.edu/.
3. The Mailman front page appears.
