Determining Your MyFiles and Roaming Profile Quota

To determine your quota usage for your MyFiles space and roaming profile, follow these steps:

1. Select Start > My Computer and make note of the number that appears at the end of the device address for your W: drive. In this example, the number is 0.
   
   
2. Depending on which space you want to check, do one of the following:
   • To check your roaming profile usage, select Start > Run and enter the following in the Open: text field:
     \\andrew.ad.cmu.edu\profiles\profilesX\ where "X" is the number that appeared for you in step 1.
   • To check your MyFiles space, usage Start > Run and enter the following in the Open: text field:
     \\andrew.ad.cmu.edu\users\usersX\ where "X" is the number that appeared for you in step 1.
3. Right-click on your userID and select Properties.
   
   
   
4. In the Properties window, select the General tab. The amount of space you are currently using is approximated next to "Size".
