CFA 321 Sound Room

Clusters Services provides an audio recording facility that is accessible to members of the campus community at the College of Fine Arts building. Any individual with a valid CMU Andrew ID and ID card may gain access to the room.  The room can be used for both vocal and instrumental recording, and is composed of two areas: a main area used for software operation and a booth for isolated audio recording.

Any member of the campus community may reserve the sound room by following this process:

  1. Follow steps to register for Clusters Multimedia Lending Access.
  2. Once logged into the system, you can reserve the sound room for up to four hours at a time during regular CCon staffed hours. Reservations can be made up to a week in advance.
  3. On your reservation date, be sure to bring your CMU ID card with you and check in at the CCon office to use the room.
