Event & Videoconference

Events

MediaTech provides a wide variety of equipment, from wireless microphones, to sound and projection systems, for events.  Technicians are available to deliver and setup your equipment.  In addition, at your request, a technician can be scheduled to stay and operate the equipment during the event.  Events can occur in the University Center, Posner Center, or in any campus location.  Place your events order online using the appropriate form.

Videoconferences

Videoconferences can be scheduled anywhere on campus, using ISDN or IP lines. Technicians will deliver and setup the equipment.  You can also request that a technician stay onsite and assist with the videoconference. 

We have small videoconference units available for use with one or two people.  These can be used in rooms with a registered, active data outlet.

In addition, Giant Eagle (Baker Hall A51), Steinberg (Baker Hall A53) and Rashid (Gates and Hillman Centers) auditoriums have resident IP videoconferencing capabilities.  For more information on these classrooms visit the Classrooms Special Feature section.
