Special Feature

Our special feature classrooms have the current standard classroom technologies (e.g., touch panel, DVD/CD player, document camera, auxiliary panel ports, etc.) installed.  In addition to this, these rooms offer some unique equipment.

Rotating Projector

Hamburg Hall 1004 is equipped with a unique feature-a rotating projector.  The projector can be displayed on one of two screens in the room.

Videoconferencing

Gates 4307, Giant Eagle (Baker Hall A51) and Steinberg (Baker Hall A53) auditoriums has resident IP video conferencing capabilities controllable from a touch panel.

Surround and Tactile Sound

Gates 4301 has both surround and tactile sound systems.  When surround sound-encoded media or equipment is used, the audio envelops the classroom.  The optional tactile sound feature resonates through the floor via ultra low frequency waves, some below the human hearing threshold. With two human senses being stimulated, sound is experienced on a new level.
