Your Andrew UserID & Password

Your Andrew account is your gateway to the computing environment at Carnegie Mellon. Your account gives you access to email, network registration, Computing Services public clusters (computer labs) and other resources.

What is my Andrew userID?

Visit the Carnegie Mellon Directory to determine your Andrew userID.  If your email address is jsmith@andrew.cmu.edu then, your Andrew userID is jsmith.

Setting a Strong Password

To ensure uninterrupted access to the above services, please set a personal, strong password as soon as possible.  If you are new to the university, review the password requirements and then visit the Set Your Password section.  Follow the steps that best describe your affiliation.

Changing Your Current Password

If you already set your Andrew account password and would like to change it, please visit the Change Password interface and follow the on-screen instructions.
