Ken Hallinen has been employed by Carnegie Mellon since February 1983 in various positions ranging from Computer Operator, Operations Manage, Budget Analyst, Business Manager and Director. In his current positon he is responsible for division finances and purchasing including budgeting, forecasting, service costing, certifying invoices for payment, reporting and analysis. Also responsible for working with the management team to determine funding strategies and ensure transactions conform to university policy and government regulation. Participates in various university strategic projects
Ken was also employed as Assistant Track coach at Carnegie Mellon from November 1989 – April 2014.
Ken has a BS in Administration & Management Science as well as a BS in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University.
