Description

All five studies asked female participants for information on their recent menstrual history (i.e., date of last menstrual period; LMP).  The timing and number of assessments differed across studies depending on the duration of the pre-quarantine baseline period.  Because of the potential effects of menstrual phase on women’s cardiovascular responses, the LMP assessment schedule in PCS3 was also influenced by the 2 physiologic reactivity sessions.  Information on the exact timing of each assessment can be obtained from each study’s Trial Outline.

In PCS2 only, female participants were asked for additional information regarding their menstrual histories:

• Average duration of period (days)
• Average number of days in cycle
• Whether cycles are regular (yes/no)
• Whether the participant no longer has a period (yes/no)
