Seating

Special needs seating is available on the field. View our stadium and seating map [.pdf] for more information.
Tickets are NOT required and no prior arrangements are necessary. See a commencement staff member for access.
Up to 3 guests are permitted to sit with a special needs guest in these sections.

Interpreters will be at the Doctor’s Hooding ceremony and the main commencement ceremony.
They will be positioned in front of the special needs seating sections.

We strongly encourage those guests who have difficulty walking to bring or rent a wheelchair for the weekend.

All campus buildings and parking areas are wheelchair accessible.
A ramp to the field is located near the stadium entrance near the University Center.

For reservations, two-day rates, or hotel/home delivery, please call the Wheelchair Exchange at 412-241-5121.

Wheelchair accessible shuttles will be available on Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The pick-up location is the University Center Circle. Guests can be dropped off at any on or off-campus location, including off-campus diploma ceremonies and hotels.
No prior arrangements are necessary.

All parking areas are wheelchair accessible.
On Sunday, the first floor of the East Campus Garage will be reserved for special needs guests. No prior arrangements are necessary. See a parking attendant for access.
