Participation Information

Faculty members are invited to participate in:

• The main commencement ceremony
• Diploma ceremonies
• Honors ceremonies
• The Doctor's Hooding ceremony

RSVP by April 20.  Faculty members should also inform their department's commencement coordinator of their intended participation.

Main Commencement Ceremony

Sunday, May 20

11 a.m.
Gesling Stadium
Robing and procession line up begins at 10 a.m. in the TV/Rec Room, West Wing

• The ceremony will last approximately 75 minutes.
• The stadium is not covered, but the ceremony will take place rain or shine

Diploma Ceremonies

Various times and locations

Honors Ceremonies

Saturday, May 19

10 a.m.
Locations will be announced in March.

Doctor's Hooding Ceremony

Saturday, May 19

8 p.m.
Wiegand Gym, first floor, University Center

Robing and procession line up will begin at 7 p.m. in Rangos Hall, second floor, University Center

• The ceremony will last approximately 1.5 - 2 hours.

Cap and Gown Information

Caps and gowns are required at all of the above events, except the honors ceremonies. Faculty members who do not own regalia will need to rent a cap, gown, and hood (if applicable). Order information will be available soon.
