Honors Ceremonies Details
Saturday, May 16
Locations will be announced in the spring.
Seniors receiving university and college honors will be presented with honors medallions and cords, which should be worn to the main commencement ceremony on Sunday.
- Each ceremony will last approximately one hour.
- Tickets are NOT required.
- Caps and gowns are not required except for at the Mellon College of Science ceremony, where gowns (but no caps) should be worn by graduates.
- Associate deans will issue invitations to qualifying students and their parents beginning in mid-March and continuing through mid-April (depending on when a student's grade point average is finalized).

Contact your college's honors ceremony coordinator to verify that you will be graduating with honors.
Unable to Attend your Honors Ceremony?
Students can pick up their cords and medallions at the commencement welcome area, beginning at the conclusion of the honors ceremonies on Saturday.
