This photo shows the new chambers of Congress. The rooms served as conference facilities at the Greenbriar and could seat 470 and 130 people each. The photo was taken while standing in the "Exhibit Hall." It was from this room that the bunker connected to the rest of the hotel. A false wall partially concealed the blast door from unsuspecting conference-goers, although the door's huge hinges were visible. Seeing that camoflaged door will change the way you look at building interiors.

This is the broadcast room. Standing in front of an appropriate backdrop, Congress could make television broadcasts to the remaining population (assuming that the public had survived and was watching television).

 

  This photo shows police and riot control gear. Hardhats, billy clubs, and guns might be required if members of Congress in the event of individual or collective breakdowns. Not shown are the detention cells.
