A short slide or film presentation is shown followed by a walking tour of the building finally ending up at the 13" Fitz-Clark refractor. If it's a clear night we will be shown whatever celestial objects are within range of the telescope.
The Observatory has lots of stairs and no elevators. You are welcome to bring a guest, but space is limited to 50 people. Please RSVP to Krista Campbell by July 24, so we can get an accurate count for the tour.

|You Can't Take It With You by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart
||Wednesday, November 20, 2013
||8PM||Philip Chosky Theater, Purnell Center||
Pulitzer Prize winner in 1937, "You Can't Take It With You" is a screwball comedy which resonates today as it brings a message of optimistic bravery and love during the Great Depression. The story centers around the madcap eccentrics of the free-thinking Vanderhof household. When granddaughter Alice falls in love with the son of a conservative Wall Street banker, the twofamilies meet, resulting in hilarious fireworks.
There will be a group of us going for dinner at 5:30pm (dinner on your own) before the show. For reservation purposes, please let us know if you can make it.
